Change Is Inevitable
Life at one point or another will catch you on the blindside where you didn’t see a circumstance coming and it caught you off guard. I know I have had many of those situations myself and in those times it can get very dark. It is hard to see a way out and can be very overwhelming. Yet in these times you really get to know yourself, your strengths and what you are truly capable of.
I know it seems weird but hitting rock bottom can be one the most transforming times that take place in your life. You start looking at things in new ways and with fresh eyes because you have gone to a place you have never gone to before. I always believe circumstances are happening for you and not to you. You believe this when you can see the bigger picture in why it is happening and understand the blessings in the situation that life has given you.
Some of the reasons why it may be happening is to slow you down, so you could change your path, meet the right person and be in the relationship your meant to be in or to find the career that you were always meant to do but you didn’t know until you had to stop, listen to your inner voice and finally know that was what you truly wanted. Some people end up getting sick because they needed to have more compassion for themselves or others and the list goes on.
The key to transforming anything in your life is acknowledging, surrendering and feeling the emotions that come with it but then letting them go and understanding the blessings of the situation. When you understand the blessings of any situation you can then also help others that are going through the same thing, since your mission on earth is to help others in some way so it all makes sense.
So change is inevitable for us all as life’s true nature is change. I think the best way anyone can prepare for change is having a strong sense of self and the way that we develop that is getting to know ourselves on a deep level. This means facing your demons and healing your wounds from the past as we all have/ had wounds. Being comfortable in your own skin and with your own company and to be your own biggest supporter and best friend. If we are able to practice this and develop a strong sense of self then life will be a lot easier to deal with when change and difficult circumstances enter our lives.
Have faith in those dark times and just know that nothing stays the same forever and it will change. I have found in these times don’t compare yourself to others and be gentle on yourself. Always do the best you can with where you are and what you have. Be grateful for what you do have and do a gratitude practice every day as this will change your perspective on the situation. When we are grateful for what we have then we always attract more it’s the universal law.
